Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty is an action thriller

Starring Akshay Kumar as an army officer, the film is an official remake of
Murugadoss's own 2012 Tamil film Thuppakki.
The film follows Virat Bakshi (Akshay Kumar), an Indian Army
officer who arrives in Mumbai on vacation. During his stay, he stumbles upon a
terrorist plot to bomb the city. Virat, unable to ignore the threat, decides to
take matters into his own hands and sets out to hunt down the terrorists and
protect the city.
